Rory back at Yale
Lorelai and Chris have been dating for 5 weeks - Chris plans a romantic "drive in" movie date (it was very sweet)
Richard is a guest professor at Yale (economics department)
Rory made some new gal friends
Luke's daughter is staying with him for a few weeks while her mom is out of town taking care of her mom. April brought Luke to Target since he'd never been so she could dress up his boring house.
and last but not least - Emily Arrested! Lorelai's reaction was priceless and absolutely hysterical! Not sure if Emily was arrested for talking on the cell phone while driving (which is supposedly illegal in CT - is it?) or for intoxication or what . . . assuming it was the cell phone + her mouthing off to the officer

Happy with tonight's episode - Emily arrested - too funny! I am not sure where they are going with Rory and her new friends - I think she definitely needs some girl friends but these two didn't seem like the right fit for her --maybe they'll be around more next week. I am also wondering what is going to happen with Lorelai and Chris - is this for real? I don't want to get sucked into cheering for them if Chris is going to break her heart again or if she goes back to Luke. I am really liking Chris and Lorelai together BUT something bad seems looming around the corner . . . although in next weeks preview it looked like he is going to propose in coming episodes . . . . hmmmmmm
